Moving Images
Concept and Performance:
Nathan Pramudiya Ishar and Josefine Luka Simonsen
The interdisciplinary work explores the historical and hierarchical relation of photography and dance and challenges it in dialogue. In interaction of bodies and Images the materiality of both media is put into question. The two Performers are interacting with seven slide projectors, that are projecting Images from personal archives and set visual references to Central-European and North American history of art, dance and photography. The immaterial projections and material moving bodies are interacting equally in the installative set-up and initiate new perspective on dance and photography.
